This was one of my favorite projects in a long while. The client was excellent, the creative team was a blast, and the beer…damn drinkable.

Coming up with the tagline and branding for this little Pacific Northwest brewery involved many conversations with the owner/brewer and other members of this passionate crew, but sadly, not nearly enough sampling because their beers are truly exceptional.

The Cans

Narrows Brewery lies within sight of the Narrows Bridge in Tacoma, Washington. Rumor has it that lurking down in the cold waters around the remains of the original collapsed bridge dwells an exceptionally Giant Pacific Octopus AKA the Kraken. The beautifully designed cans nod to the bridge, the Kraken, and the nautical charts of the surrounding waters of the Sound.
